Please read before you decide to submit your site.

Introduction:

If you are reading this, I assume, you are familiar with the webring concept, have a website related to the topic/theme of this webring and would like to join the Equator. It is also important that you have access to your server files and be able to copy and paste the HTML code. It is not a problem if you cannot modify the code to make the navpanel blend with your site, I am happy to do that for you.
Before joining, please read this webring's Terms of Service as specified below.

To clarify: this is a 'webring' and NOT a link listing directory service.

TERMS OF SERVICE

Equator is an open webring service.
It is termed 'open' because at present their is no limit to the number of websites that will be hosted by this ring. This may change in future if Siterings.net, the webring's host, changes their terms of service.

This is a webring for cricket related websites only.
Every websites on this ring has to have cricket as its central theme. Even though the nature of content on a cricket website should not be a concern to our webring, the exceptions have been outlined below in Appendix A.
For everyone to be able to enjoy this webring, the rules will be strictly enforced.

Equator being a webring host, offers the Service, that will allow cricket related websites to link together into an easily navigable group. I, as the Ringmanager will provide the navigation system (also called a 'navpanel') for this webring. Each member website of this ring will host the navpanel on their own webpage(s), on their own chosen server and managed by their designated Webmaster.

Although highly unlikely, it is still possible that in using this webring and while viewing other member websites you may be exposed to images and other material that you may find objectionable, indecent, or otherwise offensive. If the content or material found on a member website or one of it's other pages concerns you, and are not compliant with our site rules and principles, please provide me the name and details of the website.

Equator is not responsible for the content on the member sites. That is the responsibility of the respective webmaster. Neither will Equator ever have control over, or access to the contents, in any form, found on these member webpages or the associated webpages of the member websites; which includes images, links, trademarked material and/or any other offensive content.

If I become aware, or am made aware, of any content on any of our member sites that goes against the ring's rules, I can and will remove the website from the ring.

Although very unlikely, due to the possibility of exposure to adult or mature content, we do not allow children under the age of 14 to join this webring according to the rules of the host Siterings.net. This does not mean that children below that age are not allowed to navigate this webring, visit this ring's List/Hub page to find a related website, view and read other website(s). They are simply not allowed to join this webring.

CONTENT OWNERSHIP CLAUSE

You retain the copyright on all content sof your website. We may use your website or mention your website as an example to publicise our webring. On that basis, as a member of Equator the hosting webring, you grant us the world-wide, royalty free and non-exclusive license to present your website for the sole purpose of promoting this webring. This license remains in effect only for as long as you continue to be a member of this webring, and it will end at the time you leave the ring. If you have any concerns on this, or if any part of it is not clear, then please contact me.

RESERVED RIGHTS AND INDEMNITY

You agree NOT TO HOLD Equator and its affiliates and agents RESPONSIBLE for AND TO INDEMNIFY from any claim, liability, loss, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees due to or that arising out of content you make available through this webring, your use of this webring, your connection to this webring, your violation of these Terms of Service, or your violation of any rights of another individual, group or community.

We also reserve the following rights:

  • To deny, remove or block any website and website information from this webring WITHOUT notice, for any reason, including tampering or interfering with the function of this webring, violation of these Terms of Service, and/or lack of use.

  • To delete or suspend any member website and website information that appears to have been abandoned. All effort will be made to notify the Webmaster (Owner) prior to taking these actions.

  • To modify or discontinue hosting WITHOUT notice, the service of this ring, for any reason, either temporarily or permanently. You agree that Equator shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of your membership within this webring!

  • Upon leaving this webring, Webmasters agree to remove all Equator related data, including the navpanel as supplied by the this webring, and any other trademarks from their website.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

Equator makes no representations about the suitability of this webring or about any content or information made accessible by the use of this webring for any purpose. This webring is provided "AS IS" without express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

The Equator makes no warranty that
• this webring will meet your requirements
• this webring will increase your websites popularity and or ranking
• this webring service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• the statistics that this webring system produces will be accurate or reliable
• any errors in the navpanel code will have to be rectified immediately.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Equator and any of its agents will not be held liable under any theory for any damages suffered by you or any user of this webring, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other losses (even if you have advised us of the possibility of such damages), resulting from
• the use or the inability to surf this webring;
• unauthorized or accidental loss or alteration of your data or transmission;
• or any other matter relating to this webring.

Appendix A

We on Equator respect everyone's right to Freedom of Expression. We will not actively monitor the content of our member websites. We do however automatically forbid the following types of content any where within a member's website:

  • Promoting or conducting illegal activities. Such information if and when found, will be immediately reported to the appropriate authorities.

  • Child Pornography - to strongly emphasize. If any content is found to even remotely promote child pornography, or otherwise promoting the exploitation or abuse of children, we will immediately report the offending person(s) to the proper authorities.

  • Racial/Religious/Sexual Hatred or Bigotry. We on Equator respect everyone's right to Freedom of Expression and individual liberties. We will exercise our rights to decline to host any such material on this ring.

Acceptance of Terms of Service

By registering your website, after having read these terms, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Agreements.
